About the birth of Naanal Therapy studio
Why the name “Naanal”?
Naanal, named after a resilient plant, symbolizes bending but not breaking under the wind's force. Like this plant, my mission is to nurture a generation that flexes with life's challenges yet remains unbroken, absorbing positivity from the universe. Just as Naanal filters only good water, I aim to instill in young people the ability to filter negativity and embrace resilience
My life journey revolved around nearly 8000 adolescents while working as an assistant professor in an engineering college for 8 years. During this time, I realized that young people were seeking psychological support more consciously than academic assistance, and I was able to provide it for them. Hence, I began my journey towards child and adolescent psychology. I pursued my Masters in Psychology, a Diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychology, and a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapies. Now, I am helping parents, children, and adults realize and build resilient mindsets to face the future with peace of mind.My journey as an assistant professor loaded with wonderful memories in an engineering college was the catalyst for switching my career to become a psychologist. This experience helped me connect with the mental health challenges of the present generation and inspired me to pursue the path of psychology.
The new version of myself entails a bold and joyful career shift, focusing on upskilling with complete dedication, commitment, and passion towards child and adolescent psychology to cultivate resilient mindsets for Indian kids and youngsters.
